Hello y'all! Been a hot minute hasn't it?

I'll cut right to the chase, my moving situation is really kicking me in the butt in terms of how active I can be here. My mom's house has no Wi-fi so I barely get a chance to access the web there. I only can while I'm at dad's house for the week. I'll try to post a couple stuff to make up for all that though. ;)

What I'm really excited to share with you guys is the fact that I downloaded a new art program known as Inkscape! Inkscape is a free application that is designed for Vector Art and works very similarly to Adobe Illustrator and is about just a powerful and capable. There's no free trial, anyone can get it with 100% access to all it's features.

It has things like Layers, Blending, Clipping, Masking, Adjustable Format, stuff most other art programs like Clip Studio Paint or IbisPaint X would have except it uses Vector graphics instead of the various brush tools that the standard program uses. Perfect for someone like me who prefers to use vector graphics for their art!

Up until this point, I've used the scratch editor for vector art which was limiting because I only had one format size to work with, there were no layers and I had to use costume editor to recreate having layers, the gradients weren't as capable among a lot of other fancy art features most other programs would have that scratch lacked. So I'm proud to say that with Inkscape, my art should start looking a lot better, especially once I learn how to make good use of its features. (And I'll finally get to 100% cut ties with that stupid website. >:I)

I'll try to use it as much as I can and start to gain a bit of consistency with posting. For now, I'm looking at at least 2 posts per month. As for animation, expect me to occasionally post those as well. Because of Newgrounds' blamming system. They'll be posted to YouTube first before being posted here.

A new era of RaymationStudios is coming and I am preparing for it. It's time for me to really get out there and make a name for myself! Art, Music, Animations and in the long run, Stories and Games! Stay tuned y'all, I'm just getting started here! >:)

Self explanatory title, I'm posting this to remind Newgrounds that I'm still here even though I haven't posted since March. I did make new music, but I'm scared to upload those because of how ungodly strict Newgrounds is on music that uses external samples which I've been incorporating as of lately since I transitioned to using Ultrabox. As for art, I barely have anything new, even in terms of traditional stuff. So Imma have to ask y'all to be a bit more patient so in the future I can give y'all another big dump of traditional art. I'm currently working on a Pearl reference sheet so expect that soon. I'll also be slightly shifting my focus to animation as well since I've always considered myself to be an animator more so than an artist. I just needed to find my artstyle and practice it before continuing with that animations.

As for why I haven't been doing much recently, my life is very busy right now. We're getting ready to move to a new house, and I'm also still working on getting everything I need for college. A lot of things happen in my personal life that takes time out of what could be used for art and pair that with my low amounts of motivation and you get the "one drawing every month or 2" schedule that I have. But I promise that I'll fix that. I'll try to get that Pearl ref sheet done as soon as possible. (I'm up at 1:00 AM working on it as I'm typing this lol.)

I’m in a group chat where someone was kinda shaming feet kinks so as a person with a feet kink myself, I decided to draw a bunch of feet to spite that person. You’re welcome lol.

Definitely made it more of an art practice than just fetish art. But don’t be surprised if at some point in the future you end up seeing me post fetish art. 😉

I don't draw too much vector art currently. (I aim to change that now that I'm back on Newgrounds.) But I did do a lot of traditional stuff. Here's a big fat dump of Traditional Art for you guys!

4: This is a picture Atticus took of Pearl sunbathing without her knowledge. Capturing that fat blue booty in Ultra HD 1440p60 quality on a 12x12 ratio. Pearl's quite happy with how the image came out.

6: Pearl's Battle Gear designed to distract her opponents so she can shatter their bones, deform their tissue, and tear their muscles in a single punch or kick!

7: A Selfie Pearl and The Pretty Squad took on a private yacht. (Emerald's the on chillin' in the back.)

8: This was made during November. She was desperate to make people fail the funny triple N challenge.

No but seriously, when Newgrounds needed me most, I returned. And it feels great to finally be to the only place on the internet where I can authentically be myself and not worry about offending some crybaby fucktards by literally just doing what I like to do. For those who are unaware of who I am, I used to go by FrostPen hence the name as of writing this. But I've rebranded to RaymationStudios! I was an artist here who occasionally drew his ocs and other people's ocs. I never drew characters from popular francizes because I purposefully wanted to keep a low profile on Newgrounds so as not to start an online career before I felt I was truly ready. All this was just a place where I could show off stuff I made in my freetime, everything I made was for me first and for the viewer last. While I was here, I ended up making a few friends and I quickly made a name for myself as a funny individual who made some really cool art, music and animation occasionally. A guy who could do a little bit of everything! But my time here was kinda short lived as I realized this site was so fuckin' sigma, I was immature in comparison. And I kinda ended up making a fool of myself over in the forums. (I'd like to assure y'all, I'm not that same pathetic asshole I used to be anymore. No hard feelings okay?) So I ended leaving with the intention to not return until I felt I was mature enough to actually be a respectable individual on the site. I would say I've gotten a lot more emotionally mature, (As vulgar as I like to act.) and I'm also 18 now there's that! :)

So a lot has happened to me since I was last here. For starters, I graduated Highschool and very soon I'll start community college! My life has gotten a lot better, back when I was on NG my parents marriage was falling apart, I was still dealing with abuse, I was unable to cope with school, I was going through some tough things which contributed to me being a piece of shit back when I was here. But my life is amazing now, my parents are divorced, my mother has been able to take proper care of me and my brother, me and my brother's relationship has become absolutely amazing, and now that I'm not in school, I've had lots of time to self-discover, find out who I am and how I deal with life. And I honestly feel like the way I am now, I can take on any challenge that comes my way. While I was not on Newgrounds, I was mostly alone just existing and doing what I wanted. But in recent months, I've reconnected with some old friends and made some new ones, and I feel like my time with them kinda prepared me for being in an online space again. But it also helped me remember what I loved about NG so much. I never had to be too close to anyone, I can know a few cool people but no one had to be my friend and I didn't have to be anyone's shoulder to cry on. (People vent to me a lot and as much as I like helping people, it's become tiring to be frank.) People can just appreciate me and my work from a distance. And that's why I'm here again. I have no intention to make many friends here, but I won't say I'm unwilling to be friends if I think your a cool dude.

Enough about me, now it's time for the stuff most of you guys actually care about. (It's fine, I honestly don't care lol.) I can confidently say that my art, music and animation has improved greatly since I was last here. I'm gonna share some stuff I made to catch y'all up! As for the future, I intend to start drawing characters from francizes now. I think I've gotten over that quirky little fear of mine and frankly, I think I'm ready to build a fanbase here and become more well known. I've actually been scouted for the art portal and the audio portal while I was gone to, which means everything I make is gonna go straight to the front page. Basically what I'm saying is, no more low profile. I'm coming for that fame suckers!

But in conclusion, I'm just glad to be here again. Don't expect me to do too much for now, I've still got life stuff I need to prepare for. But in the foreseeable future, we're gonna be ramping things up a bit. But yeah, that's about everything. Can't wait to see y'all again! :D

Don't freak out upon reading this, but I'm gonna entirely leave Newgrounds indefinitely. To be clear, you WILL see me again at some point if you don't leave before my return. How long will I be gone? It really depends on how my life ends up working but my idea is probably for about 5 or so years if I'm unable to balance Newgrounds and my future college life. I have a variety of reasons I want to temporarily leave. But for the most part it's me, not Newgrounds, contrary to scratch itself being why I left scratch.

Here's the first reason. A big reason why I left scratch was because it was too childish for me. Interestingly, On Newgrounds it's the opposite. This place is too mature for me right now. As of late, I feel like I'm the silly meta little child Mike and I would burry 12 ft under back on scratch. That's not who i'm trying to be, if anything i'm against people like that. But my level of maturity on here equates to that annoying sort of person on scratch so feel I have to leave temporarily so no one has to put up with my nonsense and go through the trouble of burrying me 12 ft under like Mike and I used to do. Now, normally I wouldn't give a fuck about this and be myself regardless but when the other reasons are added this becomes an additional desirable benefit.

The next reason is similar to another reason I left scratch. Time management, for lack of better words, I must confess that places like this are an addiction for me and it takes time out of things that are actually important for me in life. While I could be studying to return to school, i'm busy looking at pointless forum posts. While I could doing chores and helping around the house, i'm rewatching an animation I saw 15 times already. While I could be getting ready to go get my learner's permit, here I am typing this shit. There's nothing wrong with using social media if you can balance it and your personal life. But if you can't do that, the social media has to be removed for your own good. My mom has already discovered that I use Newgrounds and came to the same conclusion. She also saw a lot of the stuff I posted, even the sus ones. (Fun fact: she didn't mind at all. If anything she loved it and encouraged me to just make what I want. This is a mere fraction of why I brag about my mom being the best mom in the universe.) Not that it's relevant, I just thought i'd tell y'all. But yeah, the point is. I use it too much so it's time for a break. Especially now since school is coming back soon, i'm gonna be learning how to drive, i'm at a pivotal moment in my life so if Newgrounds is getting in my way, I have to remove that obstacle.

The last reason is the benefits I'll get from this. If I keep practicing art, animation, and music production. By the time I return I'll be able to compete with most of the more well known people on here. I'm sorta still a nobody now and it needs to stay that way so that when I come back i'll start gaining recognition at a time I'm actually great at what I do. This was my idea all along so it's time I actually bring it to fruition. By then I'll be a lot more mature and less naive. (hopefully) and be a master at time management. Then I can make content creation my little side career like I dream it to be. (My main career will be web development.) So the idea is by leaving now, I should come back as a better person and actually be prepared for the extreme chad energy Newgrounds radiates.

To be honest, I have confidence in myself! I know that this personal change is possible I just have to pursue it. When I come back, I will post in Tom Fulp's old user reintroduction thread. It will be my first activity on Newgrounds since I left. I will also make an identical news blog post.

So here are my final messages to those I've met here who made a significant impact on how I felt about being here on Newgrounds.

Fun Fact: You actually were the first person to ever PM me! (Disregarding PM replies from Tom Fulp) It was nice to see someone in the same boat as me who left scratch and came to Newgrounds realizing how much better it is.

You're an amazing individual and you do an amazing job representing Newgrounds as a community. You'd make a good forum moderator to be honest! Have a great time on Newgrounds and here's to the offset chance you do become a moderator! XD
