I personally find this to not be a good pilot episode for a project you intend to make into a series.

The artstyle and animation is impressive but that's all it has going for it. It seems to heavily rely on gore and edginess to have any sort of appeal. There's not much of a foundation for an eye catching story that would keep me waiting for and thinking about future episodes and the characters have very basic and uninteresting personalities.

Perhaps this is the point however. Maybe the point of it is that it doesn't take itself seriously unlike most other shows and it's just here for the hell of it. But in that case, it'll be a lot harder to maintain this project long term as meaningless violence and gore without more interesting characters or story gets boring fast even to those who don't mind it at the moment.

I'd highly recommend taking notes from another indie series called Murder Drones to get an idea of what an interesting story centered around heavy gore would look like. Until then, I'm sorry but I'm giving this 2.5 stars. I have no real reason to wanna keep watching this yet. I hope you improve upon the pilot's imperfections in the next episode!

At first I thought I would need to report this for just being loud noise but no, this is actually a very a unique and impressive idea. It’d benefit from having some more notes and melodies and maybe even some chords in it so it’s not samey throughout the three minutes.

Other than that, nice work! I’m a huge sucker for music that manages to make glitchy sounds fire! 🔥

Nice work! Not too shabby! I initially had a hard time listening to this once I got to 00:41 because a lot of notes sounded out of place and unorthodox. I can see what you were trying to do with it though, it could just use a bit of work.

1:23 to 1:42 sounded really cool and was probably the best part of the song for me. The chipwave meshed with the reverbed piano really good and it was catchy and on beat this time. I also appreciate the lone piano melody that followed. It altogether made for a nice ear candy!

2:23 Does something similar to the first section I mentioned but with more release with the notes. It sounds better but it was still slightly unorthodox at times but I approve of the idea you had for it.

Overall, this is musically quite nice, it has a melancholy tone that I vibe with but some of the unorthodox placement with the notes took away from it a bit. I think this could also benefit from having more melodies at certain sections and some variety with the key pattern. It can also sound better if panning is used for some of the higher melodies. All in all, this is a 6 out of 10 in my book. Good job! ^v^
